Hi TakeApp team!
I run a fresh produce business and I’d like to suggest a feature that could really improve usability for vendors like us.
Right now, we can only sell products using a fixed quantity system, but in produce, customers think in two different ways:
  • Some prefer buying by weight (e.g. pounds)
  • Others prefer buying by units (e.g. 3 tomatoes, 5 oranges)
It would be extremely helpful to have a built-in option that allows:
  • Dual pricing for the same product (price per weight AND price per unit)
  • Clear selection for the customer (choose “by weight” or “by unit”)
  • Automatic pricing calculation based on the selected mode
This would remove friction for customers and reduce manual work for vendors.
Thanks for considering this — I believe it would be a valuable upgrade for all food and grocery businesses on TakeApp.
