Feedback for subscription feature
We appreciate the new "Subscription Products and Orders" feature. To make it even more versatile and user-friendly, I propose the following enhancements:
- Expanded Delivery Interval Options:
Currently, delivery frequencies range from "Every week" to "Every 4 weeks." We request more granular and flexible options, such as:
- Daily
- Weekdays (excluding weekends)
- Customizable intervals
- Flexible Number of Deliveries:
The current options are fixed at 4, 8, or 12 deliveries. It would be highly beneficial to allow merchants to set custom numbers of deliveries for a subscription, providing greater flexibility for various business models.
- Dynamic Meal Selection per Delivery (Advanced Feature Request):
For meal plan businesses where customers select different meals for each delivery within a subscription, an ideal future enhancement would be the ability for customers to choose their specific meals for each upcoming delivery as part of their subscription.
As a workaround for the limitations mentioned above, we currently issue vouchers to customers that are valid for a certain number of deliveries (e.g., a voucher for 5 deliveries is valid for 4 orders). Customers then place separate orders each time. However, this approach involves significant manual work for both the customer and the merchant:
- For the customer: They must repeatedly place new orders, re-entering delivery locations and other details for each individual delivery.
- For the merchant: We must manually create and update vouchers for each customer, especially upon renewal, which is a time-consuming process.

Hi Frixos Dimitriadis! We really appreciate your detailed suggestion, and we'll take this into account when developing our next features.
For now, our subscription isn't suitable for daily usage yet, and is more for weekly recurrence.
However, we do have a way for you to simplify taking 7 orders at a time.
For one, you may be able to use our option quantity feature like so to enable them to select 5-7 meals for the week.
Another relevant feature is the product bundle, where you may offer discounted products based on how many they buy

Youmin Kim Great to have this — thank you!
With this setup, I see that it effectively pushes customers toward a subscription, which is good. However, I noticed that once a subscription is configured, customers can no longer place a normal (one-time) order for the same product.
How can we allow both options — subscription and one-time purchase — on a single product page? We do expect orders from customers who prefer to pay just once as well.
What do you suggest as the best way to handle both cases seamlessly?
Thanks again!

Adesh Shrestha Hi, you need to create the product twice in that case. We do not handle products that are both one-off and subscription based at the moment.
Adesh Shrestha
Take App Yes, indeed — this is exactly what I wanted. But for store owners, it's double the work to create both a normal and subscription product separately. Instead, having both one-time payment and subscription options available on the same product page would be beneficial for everyone.
I'll leave the decision up to you, but duplicating products just to manage two types of orders adds unnecessary workload and makes ongoing management more complex.

This is great. We need it for our unlimited membership. Is there possibility to make it so whoever bought the ‘membership 2 week’ can order ANY product in the category for the next 2 weeks for free?

Planning this. Any feedback on this?
Customers can choose the subscription product (e.g. Milk every 1 week; payment every 4 weeks)
Make payment for first 1 month and order will be created (for the first 4 weeks)
3 weeks later, another order will be created with payment pending. Customers will receive whatsapp message for payments.

Youmin Kim Key features to include: choose products for subscription (allow businesses to choose which product this can apply to as seasonal items may not work for subscription), subscription day option (i.e. which day does it fall weekly), for weekly subscription - can this be recurring or one-off? What happens if client is travelling and had subscription - how can staff update his or adjust 'weeks'?

Youmin Kim ,
Let’s keep the system simple and user-friendly for both admins and customers. Here's a proposed step-by-step outline:
Step 1: Admin Product Tagging
Allow each product to be tagged as:
Normal Purchase
Subscribe & Save
This will give each store owner an easy way to enable subscriptions for any product.
Step 2: Pricing Rule Setup
For products with "Subscribe & Save" enabled:
Allow input of:
Original Price
Subscribe & Save Price
Add a customer-facing note:
“No extra fee. Enjoy guaranteed savings with Subscribe & Save.”
Step 3: Flexible Delivery Frequency Options
Let the customer choose how often they want their product delivered:
Every 2 Weeks
Every 1 Month
Every Sunday of the week
Every 1st Date of the month
Every Last Day of the month
Every 1st Day of the year
This simple selection mechanism should cover a wide range of preferences without overcomplicating the UI.
Snapshot View Example for Customers (Once Step 2 is selected):
Once a customer selects "Subscribe & Save," they immediately choose a delivery schedule from the above options.
This ensures a smooth and personalized experience.
Thanks to the team for always focusing on user ease.
Best of luck—and excited to see this live soon!

I sell milk via home deliveries in returnable glass bottles. Like the old days. I want to make life easier to them and I would like to automate the service via a suscription model. Please include this feature, ASAP! 🙏🏼

This is a great idea. We want to grow a part of our business that will rely on recurring subscription orders of certain consumable products…
