Right now, the membership settings have 4 methods:
For option 2. Phone number required, customers only need to enter their phone number to access the store — but it’s not verified.
I suggest improving this by adding a WhatsApp OTP verification step (similar to option 3). This way:
Customers entering a phone number must verify it via a WhatsApp code
Ensures real and accurate numbers
Reduces fake or spam entries
This would combine the simplicity of option 2 with the security of verified phone numbers.
