Youmin Kim a customer can have multiple address, can redeem points, have priority discount or free items, based on sales volume. This should be recorded in his profile and suitable implementation accordingly.

I have multiple customers with the same name and being able to differentiate via last name would be a big help

I totally agree. Their name and contact would already be saved so they don't need to reenter the info all the time I think that could be better
